   In your interview on the economy you overlooked one of the most important items —-getting re-elected has dominated political decisions for many decades.  With nothing but difficult decisions ahead,  we need a Constitutional Amendment to extend the terms of office for the president, senators and representatives but limit them to ONE TERM and bar them from lobbying after leaving office.  We also need a two year ineligibility period if for example a representative was wanting to run for the Senate. This has to the number one objective for the public if we have any hope of ever getting back on stable ground.  The golden years are behind us but we must not stand idle while falling into the abyss.
