Interesting how Bob and Ross diverge on occasion. Ross implies that miners(precious metals) tend to do well in inflationary periods.
We are in a big deflationary episode right now, so its possible that gold miners may not become a leading sector except in bouts of inflationary money printing.
Bob says the miners will become the dominant industry , as in past, regardless of deflation. He tracks real price and margin increases.
Ross implies the gold miners will not fare well except if the dollar devaluation can ramp up.
Both imply that golds will go up and down with market, with a slight bias towards the upside over longer period
