  1. Not getting involved is an increasing event. Police are more likely to arrest the victim or good Samaritan then the perpetrator/ criminal. Only solution is to make those who make the rules (civil servants) fully criminally responsible. Thus the person who made the stupid rule would be immediately arrested, jailed and charged with second degree murder.

  2. Somalia does not have a government. Why not move there if you are so unhappy?

    @dave…

    C’mon man – you have more on the ball than that, right? Jeff’s basic tenet – and all those who love Real Liberty and Freedom, is that reasonable individuals are innately capable of governing themselves without a 3rd party to ‘regulate’ the transaction or consensual agreements among men. Especially when that 3rd party invites itself in – Armed and under the ‘color of law’ whether you want it there or not…

    The problem is, we have strayed 180 degrees away from our founding principles to the point where what was once considered normal is now abnormal. It is now considered to be out of step – or even anti-social or perhaps even ‘terrorist’ to desire to conduct communication or transact outside the confines of ‘official’ government sanction.

    I’m not too sure I’d want to live in a country where police turn a blind eye to drunk driving.

    Founding principles says being able to drive drunk is freedom? How about the people lives affected by that choice?
